A gentle, human-centered review to help your space become more welcoming, intuitive, and accessible.

Intro Paragraph

Most people want to be inclusive. They just don’t always know where to start.

At Feel Seen, we offer gentle, connection-based accessibility walkthroughs for small businesses, studios, cafés, and community spaces. This isn’t a formal audit—it’s a conversation. We help you explore how your space communicates and feels for Deaf, disabled, blind/low vision, neurodivergent, and sensory-sensitive guests.

Our goal isn’t perfection. It’s to help you create a space where more people feel safe, seen, and comfortable.

What’s Included

Each walkthrough includes:

• A warm, informal walkthrough of your physical space (in-person or virtual)

• Observations around:

• Deaf-friendly design (visual cues, lighting, communication access)

• Blind and low-vision access (tactile markers, high-contrast signage, layout flow)

• Mobility and sensory experience (seating, spacing, soundscape, fragrance, lighting)

• Customer experience (ordering process, signage tone, emotional ease)

• A customized Feel Seen report with kind, actionable suggestions

• Optional feedback on your website’s communication access (booking flow, contact options, etc.)

Add-ons available:

• Mini ASL intro sessions for your staff

• Scriptwriting support for signage and inclusive messaging

• Collaborations with Deaf and disabled creatives

• Option to be featured in a future Feel Seen Directory of inclusive spaces (coming soon)

Why I’m Qualified to Do This Work

This offering is grounded in both professional training and lived experience.

I’m a licensed occupational therapist (MOT, OTR/L), specializing in environmental adaptation, sensory integration, and communication access. I help people of all ages—especially children—navigate spaces that support how they move, connect, and feel.

I’m also a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults), which gives me a lifelong understanding of Deaf culture, nonverbal communication, and the deep emotional impact of accessible or inaccessible spaces. Feel Seen is rooted in that understanding.

This work isn’t about checklists—it’s about the atmosphere your space creates, and whether people feel emotionally and physically safe inside it. I blend clinical insight, cultural fluency, and intuitive care to help you move toward meaningful inclusion.

Who This Is For

This is for small businesses, artists, and community builders who want to extend their values into their physical space.

You don’t need to have it all figured out.

You just need to care enough to look with new eyes.

Pricing

Sliding scale available. We’ll find a price that feels fair, based on your size, needs, and budget.
